How to duplicate yourself with Adobe Photoshop

Do you like the several visual effects of duplicate that you usually see on movies or pictures? Do you want to make something similar for yourself? The tutorial below will learn you how to duplicate yourself with Adobe Photoshop.

Final Result

This tutorial is simple and easy, it just needs some of your time! Let’s start:

Select your pictures

First, select two or more pictures to use on this tutorial. I used those:

I will use the first picture as my main and I will crop the person from the second one.

Pen Tool: Select whatever you will duplicate

Go to the second picture and take the Pen Tool. Then, zoom in (recommended) and select with patience and attention whatever you want to duplicate.

Then, go to your path (or just right click on your selected object) and click Make Selection…. Just click Ok in the new window.

Well done! Now you have your object selected. Go to Edit > Copy to copy it.

Insert your object in your main picture

Go to your main (first) picture and click Edit > Paste.

Then, go to Edit > Free Transform and move your object in the right place. Also, try to rotate and change its size if the result isn’t very good.

Final Result

Finally, use the Clone Stamp Tool or the Healing Brush Tool to “fix” some parts of your duplicate object. That’s my final result:

I want to thanks Thimianis Nikos for his photos.
